Compound is the budgeting app built for financial coaches, advisors, and planners — and the clients they work with. Individuals can use it on their own, too.
Head to /coaches/apply, fill out a short form (your background + how you work with clients), and you’re in. No approval window — pick a plan and start inviting clients right away.
Your clients see the full Compound app — budget, transactions, goals, accounts. You see the same data, read-only. They never see your session notes; you can never change their data.
Each client pays $12/month (or $99/year) for the Compound consumer app, billed to their own account. Your coach plan is separate and includes your own Compound app.
Yes. Compound is a complete budgeting app on its own — start a 7-day free trial at $12/month. The coach features are entirely separate.
Plaid access tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Session notes are encrypted at rest. Database queries are scoped per-user — only the customer, their connected coach, and platform admin can read their rows.
