1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves to your browser when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work properly, remember your preferences, and give website owners information about how visitors use their site.
Cookies are not programs and cannot carry viruses or install software on your device. You can control whether cookies are stored through your browser settings — see Section 4 for instructions.
2. How We Use Cookies
Essential Cookies
Some cookies are necessary for the Site to function correctly. These include cookies set by Cloudflare for security and bot detection purposes. These cookies do not track you for advertising and cannot be disabled without affecting site functionality.
Analytics & Attribution Cookies
We do not set any advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Site traffic measurement uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless (see Section 5), and product analytics inside the app is collected server-side without cookies.
We set one first-party attribution cookie (mic_attrib) that remembers which marketing link or referring website first brought you to us — for example a campaign tag on the link you clicked, or the domain of the site that linked here. It contains no personal information, does not track you across other sites, and is never shared with anyone; we use it only to learn which of our marketing efforts work. This cookie is not set until you choose “Accept” on our cookie banner. If you choose to answer the optional “how did you hear about us” question when signing up, that answer is held briefly in a second cookie (mic_signup_hdyhau) until your account is confirmed.
Third-Party Cookies
When you interact with embedded tools on our Site — such as the Calendly booking widget — those services may set their own cookies on your device. These cookies are governed by the respective provider's privacy and cookie policies, not ours. See Section 3 for a full list of known cookies.
3. Cookies We Use
The table below lists the cookies currently in use on makeitcompound.com. Third-party providers may update their cookie names from time to time; the authoritative reference is each provider's own privacy policy linked from our Privacy Policy.

4. Managing Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View which cookies are stored on your device
- Delete some or all cookies
- Block cookies from specific sites or all sites
- Be notified before a cookie is stored
Instructions for the most common browsers:
Please note: disabling cookies — particularly essential cookies — may affect the functionality of certain parts of this Site, including the booking widget and email signup forms.
5. Cloudflare Web Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure site traffic and performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed with privacy in mind:
- It does not use cookies
- It does not track individuals across sites
- It does not fingerprint or profile visitors
- Data is aggregated and anonymous
Because Cloudflare Web Analytics sets no cookies, it is not listed in the cookie table above. You can read more in Cloudflare's Web Analytics documentation.
6. Visitors from the EU, UK, and Switzerland
Make It Compound is operated from the United States and our marketing site is primarily intended for U.S. visitors. If you access the Site from the EU, UK, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction that requires prior consent for non-essential cookies (for example, ePrivacy Directive countries), the embedded-vendor cookies described in the table above are not set until you choose to interact with the corresponding tool (e.g., load the Calendly widget). The first-party attribution cookie (mic_attrib) is not set until you accept our cookie banner, stores no personal data and no cross-site identifiers, and can be blocked or deleted at any time. You may control or block any cookie using the browser instructions in Section 4. If you have a specific request to confirm or remove cookies set by your visit, email hello@makeitcompound.com.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as our use of cookies or applicable regulations change. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed.
