Compound is offered on a free trial followed by a paid subscription. Current pricing is on the pricing page.
The Free Trial
Every new account gets a 7-day free trial automatically — no credit card required to start. The trial gives you full access to every feature. We'll send a reminder a few days before it ends so you can decide whether to subscribe.
Plans
Two paid options: monthly or annual. Annual is roughly 25% cheaper per month if you want to commit. Both unlock the same features — there's no feature gating between them.
Managing Your Subscription
Settings → Billing shows your current plan, next renewal date, and payment method. From there you can:
- Upgrade from monthly to annual.
- Update your payment method (we use Stripe; the change happens in Stripe's secure billing portal).
- Cancel — takes effect at the end of your current paid period; you keep access through that date.
Coach Connection Includes the App
If you connect to a coach who pays for the Compound for Coaches platform, your Compound app subscription is included for as long as you're connected — you don't pay separately while the coach connection is active. If the coach connection ends or their subscription lapses, you'll need your own subscription to keep using the app.
Payment Problems
If a charge fails, we'll email you and put your account in a brief grace period during which you can still sign in to fix the payment method. After the grace period without a successful payment, portal access is limited to the billing page until the issue is resolved. Your data stays intact through this process.
